1966：State-operated Qian wei meter factory had been founded.
1978：Start to research and develop Diaphragm gas meter.
1986：Cooperated with Kromschröder from Germany， and imported technology of diaphragm gas meter.
2001：Jointing venture company Qianwei Kromschröder Meters(Chongqing)Co.,ltd have been founded.
2009：The Qw//Krom company was moved to National Instruments industry-renowned brands demonstration zone in New North Zone of Chongqing.
2013：Enterprise engineering and technology research center of Chongqing smart gas metering had been settled in Qw//Krom.
2014：Gas meter automatic assembly line put into use.
2015：Wholly acquired Shanghai Kromschröder Meters Co., Ltd.
2016：Ultrasonic flow meter has been put into mass production since 2016 January.
2017: The sales of gas meter exceeded 4 million units.
2019: The sales of gas meter exceeded 5 million units.
2020: Officially renamed Qianwei Meters (Chongqing) Co., Ltd.
